Below you will find a brief overview of my internship and volunteer experience!
Spring Marketing and Booking Intern, Live nation Entertainment - Chicago, IL
When: January 2016 - May 2016
Worked closely with the booking and marketing teams for both House of Blues and North American Concerts divisions. Responsibilities included, but were not limited to the following:
Assembled advertising campaign recaps
Wrote creative and relevant copy for promotional and web use
Worked with manager in requesting, editing, and monitoring production of marketing collateral
Proof-reading and quality assurance of print materials, artwork, etc.
Assisted marketing team in the digital space by proofing, creating content, trend spotting, and information gathering for social media efforts and/or any related campaigns, reports, and projects
Assisted in a variety of ticketing responsibilities including monitoring ticket counts, creating future ticket fliers, and distributing comp'ed/promotional tickets
Created excel spreadsheet reports to track specific performances for venues and campaigns
Prepared expense reports and assist with artist travel arrangements
Assisted booking team in executing artist contracts in addition to reviewing and preparing artist riders before performances
Distributed promotional materials to various establishments throughout the city
Assisted in upkeep and maintenance of performance schedules and calendars
Volunteer, The Entertainment Institute - Northeast Warped Tour
When: July 2015 and 2016
Camden NJ, Wantagh NY, Hartford CT, Scranton PA, and Holmdel NJ Warped Tour 2015 and 2016 dates
Set up and broke down the tent each day
Promoted and sold workshop ticket to lines and around festival grounds
Created goody bags for workshop participants and escorted fans to workshops
The Entertainment Institute is a music education platform that gives you access to musicians and professionals currently working in the industry through customized workshops, both online and in person. Each workshop is customized to the guru's specialties including topics like social media, vocal lessons, touring, instrument lessons and more.
Volunteer, Hype Hotel - Austin, TX
When: March 2016

Green room and VIP assistance at Mazda + Hype Machine's Hype Hotel in Austin, TX during SXSW 2016.
Street team member, Fueled BY Ramen Street Team - NYC and Chicago Areas
When: May 2013 - July 2015
Affiliation: Warner Music Group
Helped out with street team promotion for the Fueled by Ramen label and it's artists including Twenty One Pilots, Paramore, Oh Honey, and Ghost Town.
Sold merchandise for Twenty One Pilots at two sold out shows at Irving Plaza in NYC in 2013.
DAY OF SHOW VOLUNTEER, Echosmith
When: July 2014 - April 2015
Worked day-of-show operations with Echosmith band and crew including facilitating meet and greets and other promotion including putting up posters.

Summer marketing intern, Caroline Distribution - NYC

Created social media distribution list for Record Store Day
Created weekly list of top artists on blogs such as HypeMachine and Elbo.ws
Assisted with release scheduling forms, artist social media, and CD burning/distribution mailings
Attended weekly marketing meetings
Volunteer, CANVAS Foundation - West Palm Beach, FL WARPED TOUR
When: July 2013
West Palm Beach, FL date of Warped Tour 2013
Warped Tour goers are invited to leave their impression on a canvas in return for a small donation to the cause. For the donation they will receive a palette of paint to paint the canvas (and their bodies!).
Created palettes of paint and handed them out
Was responsible for getting Warped Tour goers' attention to come to the tent and promoting the organization
Handled cash box of donations, and promoting the organization.
CANVAS donates the proceeds directly to school art programs to offset costs for students and contribute to any tools, equipment, supplies or materials that are needed.
CANVAS is a charitable organization created to support and promote art and creativity by providing underfunded art programs with the necessary materials to survive.
Volunteer, A Dream 2 Believe - NORTHEAST WARPED TOUR
When: July 2013
Holmdel NJ, Uniondale NY, and Hartford CT Warped Tour 2013 dates
Promoted the non-profit organization and educated Warped Tour-goers about AD2B
Sold merchandise and assisted with artist meet and greets
Assisted with raffle for tablecloth signed by the artists of Warped Tour 2013
Helped set up and break down the tent each day
A Dream 2 Believe was a non-profit clothing company started in June 2012. The main focus of A Dream 2 Believe was to give back to less fortunate children in The United States of America. AD2B teamed up with multiple artists throughout the music industry to gain their backing and show support for the company/movement (i.e. The Cab & Action Item). With every product purchased, AD2B donated a product or the cost of the purchased product to a homeless American child or an organization such as the Boys & Girls Club of America.
SUMMER A&R intern, Atlantic Records - NYC
When: May 2012 - June 2012
Affiliation: Warner Music Group
As an internship requirement for my high school graduation, I interned with Atlantic's A&R department for a month.
Listened and categorized artist demos
Created a playlist with fellow interns for a departmental event
Performed various administrative tasks
